Residence Counselling

Transitioning to university and navigating through your first year can be tough, and we genuinely want to see you thrive and have a successful year at Western.

Residence Counselling offers free counselling services to students who live in a Main Campus Residence. Sharing what you are experiencing with a counsellor can be helpful in terms of gaining a new perspective and learning new problem-solving skills. Feeling stressed out? Lacking motivation? Missing your family? Struggling to make friends? Having relationship problems? Anything we missed? If you need to talk, Residence Counselling is here to listen and help!

We provide short-term confidential counselling to help students manage a variety of mental/emotional challenges and promote healthy living. Our offices are located in Ontario Hall, Room 3C10, and any student living in Residence can access this service by emailing at any time to arrange to meet with one of the Residence Counsellors.
